AIDA Network is an international network of researchers, clinicians and patients, set up to share and disseminate knowledge and experience on monogenic and multifactorial autoinflammatory diseases. Its mission is to contribute to research and knowledge of these diseases in order to improve treatment, care and patient awareness.
Dinamo handled the whole path, from communication strategy to the logotype and corporate identity, through to the web platform. The preliminary phase, with the AIDA staff, defined objectives, target personas and value proposition, in order to give twenty years of medical and scientific work its due and open a new path through digital innovation. From the value proposition came the logo, drawing on a contemporary reworking of Bauhaus taste, with the letter A as an impossible object.
The platform is not a shop window. It makes three levels work together. The public level, with accessible paths for patients, researchers, clinical centres and partners. The restricted area, where members of the network reach dedicated content, courses, seminars and materials. And the research level, with integration into REDCap, the professional tool with which the network manages its clinical registries. Communication, training and research live in the same system.
One platform for three levels: communication, training and research.

The people leading AIDA had a precise idea: to give twenty years of medical and scientific work its due and open a new path through digital innovation. The preliminary phase, in close collaboration with the AIDA staff, defined the project objectives, the target personas and a value proposition for the brand. Everything else started from there: the identity, the content, the architecture of the platform.

Beyond the public level, the platform opens an authenticated space for members of the network. The user flow guides access to and use of dedicated content, courses, seminars and continuing education materials reserved for the scientific community. The network stops being only an audience to inform and becomes a community to serve, with training and resources managed by the same system that runs the site.

The deepest level is research. The platform integrates with REDCap, the professional tool with which the network manages its clinical registries on autoinflammatory diseases. Public communication and services for members are thereby connected to the research data collection infrastructure, without duplicating it. REDCap remains the network's scientific instrument; Dinamo built the bridge to the digital ecosystem, so that public engagement, training and research speak the same language.
