The site antoniolupi.it and the MyAL restricted area serve people working at a screen well. In the showroom the conditions change. The connection is less reliable, consultation happens in front of the customer, materials have to be opened quickly without going through email. The international sales network needed a tool dedicated to its own workstation.
Dinamo developed the antoniolupi app, a native desktop application for Windows and macOS. It is not a new product in its own right. It is the extension of the digital ecosystem already built for the brand, taken to where a browser is not enough.
The same data model as the website, outside the browser, inside the showroom workstation

Price lists, news and materials change often, and in the showroom the risk is working from obsolete versions downloaded by email months earlier. The app exists to close that gap. It centralises the content dedicated to the sales network in an ordered environment, outside email flows, with a form of consultation designed for working alongside customers and designers. Access runs through the same MyAL credentials as the restricted network, tied to the reseller and their geographical area according to the logic already managed by the CMS.

On launch the app compares the local version of the price lists with the one available via API and flags what is new or updated. Only changed files are downloaded, and the PDFs stay stored locally for quick consultation, updating automatically when a new version is released. Price lists can be filtered by area, language and category, in line with the structure of the CMS, and open full screen for presentation to the customer. News, text and images, is published from the same CMS as the website and reaches the apps across the network. The interface is multilingual, Italian and English, consistent with the platform.
The app does not duplicate the backend. It connects via API to the same CMS that feeds the site and the restricted area, from which it receives price lists, metadata and configurations. Authentication runs through MyAL and applies the permissions configured on the backend: the structure decides who sees what, and the app respects it. One source of truth, three channels of consumption: the public site, MyAL in the browser, the desktop app. The app updates itself, checking for a new version on launch, downloading it and applying it on restart.
