Simula designs and develops virtual reality applications for training and learning, with current technologies and in-house expertise in VR and user experience design. VR training reproduces contexts that are difficult, impossible or too risky to recreate in real life. This is why more and more companies choose virtual simulations to train their staff.
For Simula, Dinamo designed and developed the web platform that manages and distributes the VR content.
A single digital environment for distributing, storing and analysing VR training content.

VR training needs a digital environment where courses can be used through training sessions run with several groups of users at different times.
A VR session gives realistic, deep impressions that a 2D monitor or theoretical learning cannot match. What was needed was a system holding distribution, storage and analysis of content together in one central place.
Dinamo's solution covers both the provider's management of the app catalogue and the trainer's full management of live sessions, from the platform's dashboards.
The system works as a CMS for VR content. Its main functions are the creation of customised workspaces for providers, affiliated companies and end users, configurable profile management, content library management, selective assignment of courses to providers and companies, and the addition and editing of materials and documentation in personal areas.

The platform handles training statistics on two levels. At micro level it follows a single user's flow through the individual steps. At macro level it aggregates data by group of users. The site includes editorial areas devoted to case studies and showcases.
In the VR market many companies sell platforms as subscription services. Simula too needed a product scalable to the needs of its own clients, who are often service providers themselves.
The platform lets companies publish VR content from the CMS and make it available to clients in real time. Reports and analysis make it possible to understand the behaviour of the users reaching that content.
